Frequently Reported Issues
How to conduct a mock interview?
Mock interviews process
General Interview process
- What questions should I ask?
- You will be assigned a question to ask before the interview
- What is the Interview format?
- DS&A - OR - Behavioral interview
- In each interview, both you and your peer interviewer will interview each other for 20-30 minutes.
- For technical interviews, we suggest using repl.it (multiplayer mode), www.coderpad.io or www.collabedit.com (some have a time limit)
- How long is a peer interview?
- We recommend the interview session to be 60 minutes long. You chose who wants to be the first Interviewer. After 20-30 minutes, you swap roles – the Interviewer becomes the Interviewee.
- Make sure you are in a professional environment:
- Good internet
- Good microphone/headset
- Quiet background (no loud noises, turn off your phone)
- Good lighting
💡 You'll get to see each other, chat, and solve the questions. When it's your turn to be interviewed, you'll see the interview question. Good luck! This is where you'll have to implement what you’ve learned.
Provide feedback
- After conducting the interview successfully, provide feedback during the interview or through out the “Give” button on the right side of the completed interview
